Seymour Duncan LW-HS1s Live Wire "Hot" active pickup system for Strat®. This set provides a wide frequency response and no noise for a modern, hi-gain tone. It's the highest output set of pickups in the Duncan line. The top end has brilliance and sparkle but it's not harsh. The mids have a solid punch and the low end is solid and tight - even at high volume. Each position of pickup is specially calibrated for volume and string excursion. The specially designed 18 volt system is powered by two 9 volt batteries(not included). With 18 volts you get substantially more dynamic range and headroom. These pickups are wax potted AND epoxy sealed for maximum protection against microphonic feedback.
